Full colour digital printing on film has become the standard technology for sign production in Australia, yet many of our clients have experienced digital printing problems before coming to us.
The major cause of dissatisfaction is not the printing process itself, but the specification of inks, films, supporting materials and mounting systems. The easiest way to cut prices on digital printing is to use inferior or unsuitable inks and films, but Australia is a country with a harsh climate and very high levels of UV radiation and this is a false economy. Even indoor signage placed near a window or doorway can be affected by UV light.
At Coolah we prefer to specify the highest level of UV resistant films and inks for your signage to ensure that the colours remain vibrant and the impact of the sign is not reduced over its working life.
